Did Charli XCX Seemingly Shade Taylor Swift And The Reputation Tour?

British pop princess Charli XCX is catching major flack for what may be deemed a subliminal jibe at Taylor Swift.

Charli,alongside Camila Cabello,were the opening acts on Taylor Swift’s sold out Reputation Tour,that saw them take to the stage in 50 cities across America,Europe and Australia. Opening for one of the biggest music stars in the world would be a dream come true for any music act,but turns out Charli  was not all the way impressed,all thanks to a few peculiar reasons. In an interview that has since been interpreted a myriad ways,Charli intimates that,given her penchant for club performances,it was not always easy performing in arenas during Reputation. She maintains: “Leading up to that tour I’d been playing a tonne of 18+ club shows and so to be on stage in front of all ages was new to me and made me approach my performance with a whole new kind of energy.”   Swifties did not take that lying down and as one quipped,how could she forget how honored she must be to open for Taylor? Except as Charli later clarified,she did not at all shade Taylor and could not be more appreciative of the chance.
