The founder of Neno Evangelism, Pastor James Ng’ang’a, has warned female congregants against wearing trousers to church.
He emphasized the importance of dressing appropriately for worship and expressed his frustration with the current attire choices.
In a video message, he stated, “I said people should not come to my church in trousers (ladies). Do not enter here in trousers. I am tired of these murders and deaths. If you are coming here, know you are coming to worship God and not to practice prostitution; dress properly.”
He questioned the choice to wear trousers to church, asking, “You left your house knowing you were going to church—why wear trousers? From today, every member of my church should upgrade their attire and stop joking about salvation.”
Ng’ang’a also shared that when he introduced his wife, many women left the church.
He explained, “When I wanted to marry my wife, this church had a big problem. The church was flooded with women approaching me because when you have an anointing and wealth, women come into your life. They are everywhere. So when I unveiled my wife, believe it or not, 700 women stood up and walked away.”
The pastor has faced criticism for addressing his congregation about their offerings sparked debate.
After observing the collection process, he expressed disappointment, stating, “What is this? Whom is this meant for? This is what all these people have collected?”
He continued, “Is this from a woman who is going to build an altar for her kids? You come all the way to play circus games here when I am around? I am the commander.”
