How to boost your immune system during COVID19 pandemic.

Boosting your immune system should be your core priority in this season. Covid19 has proven that it’s here with us for a bit longer and thus we should all take precautions. With the world slowly opening up for the sake of the economy lets not forget that things are not back to normal YET.

As you take the necessary precautions of wearing a mask, practicing social distance as well as sanitizing and washing our hands let’s also make it a need to build our immune system.

These are the necessary steps to take in a way to build your immune system;

Introduce healthy food to your diet; Healthy foods include a high intake of vitamin A and D. You can get vitamin D by taking walks or basking in the sun as well as fish like salmon and eggs. There’s been a high intake of oranges so as to increase your vitamin C immune system. Ensure you have a balanced intake of various foods.

Take vitamin supplements; Over the counter vitamins are also essential to boost your immune system. Vitamins help when you have a busy day that might include you missing meals during the day.

Physical Activity; Exercising is another way to increase your immunity. Your body is at its best when you’re well exercised and energized. The hormones released during exercise strengthen and relax your body muscles.

Get enough sleep and rest; A healthy body is not a sleep deprived body! Ensure that you get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep in a day. When you’re fatigued and tired causes your body to be prone to diseases and infections. In this case, Covid19 infection.

Hydrate; Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water in a day. Hydration is the best way to kill toxins and avoid getting a flu which now resembles the coronavirus infection.

Avoid Smoking; Covid19 affects the lungs thus it’s important to stay away from cigarettes, vaping, shisha and other additives substances that may weaken your lungs.

Avoid stress; Avoid anything that may cause your stress levels to go up. This could mean not watching or reading too much of Covid19 news or staying away from negative energy. Stress causes enough diseases on its own thus making you prone to other infections such as the coronavirus.
