It’s World Chocolate Day! Are you yearning to make a delicious chocolate cake? There are many types of chocolate cakes such as the gluten free one, large chocolate sheet cake, chocolate cheesecake cake. You can add fruits or frost as a topping. Making a chocolate cake is one of my easiest tricks that I will be nice enough to share with you.
I’m eating a piece of cake as I write this article, drooling all over my keyboard. It is insanely delicious. Of course it was a chocolate cake I made earlier today. A delicacy which was worth the wait. Who wants cake? It would be great if everyone who reads this could taste it.
To make yours at home, you will need ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- two and a half cups of all-purpose flour
- two cups of sugar
- one and a half teaspoons of baking powder.
There should be:
- one spoon of baking soda
- one teaspoon of salt
- three big room temperature eggs
- three-quarter cup of vegetable oil
- a half cup of sour cream
- two spoons of vanilla extract
Sift the dry ingredients together. The dry ingredients are:
- Flour
- cocoa powder
- baking powder
- baking soda
- sugar
- salt.
Place all dry ingredients in a sifter and shake it back forth over a bowl to single out the clumps until they are fully folded in, meaning the mixture should be uniform.
Stir in the liquid ingredients and mix them well. These ingredients are:
- eggs
- well-refined vegetable oil
- fresh sour cream
- the vanilla extract.
Some people like to add these ingredients one by one as they stir, but others mix them in a second bowl and before adding them to the dry ingredients. Mix one last time until there are no more flour streaks and the chocolate cake batter is slightly thick.
Pour the pure’ into an 8-inch greased and floured round pan. The vegetable oil and all-purpose flour will keep the mixture from sticking to the pan. Using a rubber spatula, scrape the cake batter into both of the cake pans, removing any leftover dough on the edges of the bowl.
Bake at around 350 °F (177 °C) for 30 minutes. However, for moist and fluffy chocolate cake, you should Preheat the oven to 325° Fahrenheit or 162° Celsius. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans. Before baking the cake.
Let the cake cool for five minutes. Remove the pans from the oven and have the cake cool on a wire rack for about ten minutes to twenty. Leave it until it cools enough to touch
You could Frost and decorate later. If you made two cakes in different pans, you could consider stacking both cakes to make a two-layer chocolate cake.
Frost with chocolate buttercream frosting and decorate with any desired toppings such as berries, powdered sugar, coconut flakes, and sprinkles Serve it and enjoy it with your family.
You could make this cake for your next birthday or on a regular day because everyday is a celebration.
