Veteran socialite turned beauty and cosmetics mogul Huddah Monroe recently went on a passionate rant, labelling over half of the Kenyan population as lazy scammers.

According to the entrepreneur, she believes it is far better to import products from overseas than to rely on Kenyan businesspeople to fulfil their commitments.

Huddah went on to share a few tips to help people stay vigilant while conducting any business transactions, especial if it is for the first time. She argued one should always approach businesspeople cautiously and keep their guard up until after everything is done.

“70% of people in Kenya are scammers, before you part with your money for any services,” started off the Rich Beauty CEO.

Urging netizens, “Make sure you do your due diligence. If you want to buy anything, if you can import it better. Always work with big companies that have a reputation.

Individuals ni moto wa kuotea mbali,”

Regarding red flags to watch for when entering any partnership or business agreement, the former reality TV star advised,“Anyone without an office.

Make sure you know where they stay, their parent’s house, their sisters everything,” adding at “least for me I have intel, I can get anyone anywhere. Unless they don’t use Wi-Fi or mobile phones,”

She went on to share a dark premonition highlighting karma would soon be catching up with these individuals who have turned scamming into their way of life,

People will start dying & disappearing in this country for petty cash theft. Continue with your nonsense of scamming for a kilo of maize flour. Siku za mwizi ni 40,” Huddah stated.

In a different post she added, “if you wanna work with anyone, don’t say you weren’t warned! Men/women are all petty scammers. At least steal money that can change your life

You are wasting both our time with pettiness,”

Finishing up on the subject, Huddah argued that people should start taking justice in their own hands when it comes to dealing with scammers, as that is the only way that people would learn.

“Petty scammers in Kenya call themselves BROKERS, it’s in the name BROKE A*S. No wonder they are broke January to Dec. How these broke a*ses work is. They don’t even work.

They take money from you, pretending they are good at what they do. They use your money to go find someone who can do the work, sometimes they use your money to pay their debts ,so they don’t even have the money to do the job,” she wrote.

Adding, “You’ll wait until you give up or take action and they are usually very soft spoken you will never guess. The way people used to stone thugs back in the day should be the Same way people deal with these people,”
