City preacher, author, and actor Robert Burale has never shied away from discussing his troubled and sinful past, sharing valuable lessons he has learned throughout his journey.
The 48-year-old recently spoke candidly about his past addiction to strip clubs, explaining that he was drawn to them not by an insatiable lust for immorality, but rather by the attention he received as a tall, dark-skinned man.
“It was a lack of identity; it wasn’t because I was under the influence of lust and immorality. When you go to the strip club, the women, for a few coins, make you feel like the King of Zamunda because they are dancing and giving you all the attention you need,” the veteran actor shared during a guest appearance on Dr. Ofweneke’s ‘Lessons at 30’ segment.
According to the now-revamped motivational speaker, once you enter a strip club and experience the feeling of being treated like a king, you may find yourself returning in search of that same euphoria. It becomes almost like a drug.
“Strippers love tall people because when they dance they have a lot to look at,” the father of one stated.
Adding how enchanting the women who work in such dens are.
“The work of a stripper is to bedevil you and capture you in the spirit. The game they play is a very spiritual thing. They sit on your lap dance and never take away their eyes off you then you leave the strip club saying you will never come back here again.
But when you go to bed that is the thing that reminds you in your mind and you are ooh my goodness I need to go back there tomorrow,” Burale stated.
Concluding on the subject the pastor said,
“So you leave home on a Wednesday night and the next time you are going is on Friday so on Thursday there is nobody to make you feel like that so you have to look for money to go back there on Friday for another woman to make you feel the same, even people who are addicted to pornography is a lack of identity,” Burale shared as he revealed the highest amount he’s ever splurged in a single night out at a strip club.
“There is one night I spend Ksh100,000 on a strip club,” the preacher told Ofweneke who couldn’t contain his dismay.
