Manchester United exit the Champions League with just 4 points.

We know the identity of all but the last two teams to qualify for the 2023/ 2024 UEFA Champions League after Napoli and Copenhagen secured their spot on Tuesday.

Copenhagen went through behind the already-qualified Bayern Munich in group A, the Danes beating Galatasaray 1-0 in a winner-take-all all showdown for the second place.

Lukas Lerager’s goal was the golden goal that saved their club from elimination.

The Red Devils will however not be part of any European competition this season.

Manchester United yesterday night had a face-off with Bayern Munich which they lost 1-0.

Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013, Manchester United has exited the Champions League at the Round of 16 stage three times in seven campaigns.

They have also been knocked out of the Europa League.

Napoli on the other hand only needed to avoid defeat by two goals or more to qualify.

They ended up beating Braga 2-0 in Italy. Victor Osimhen and Srdar Saatci’s early own goal secured the spot for the hosting team.

While Barga heads into the Europa League, Napoli progressed in second behind Real Madrid, who had already wrapped up first place on matchday five.

In Group B, there was nothing to resolve in terms of last-16 qualification. Matchday five had already seen Arsenal make sure of the top spot with PSV Eindhoven certain to finish second.

The two teams closed out the group stage with a 1-1 draw in Eindhoven, while Lens’2-1 victory over Sevilla means the Frenchmen go into the Europa League ahead of the Spaniards.

Group D’s qualifiers had also been decided before matchday six. Real Sociedad and Inter were already guaranteed to finish in the top two positions.

Real Sociedad secured the first place after the two teams ended in a 0-0 draw.

RB Salzburg claimed Group D’s Europa League ticket despite a 3-1 home defeat to Benfica.

Some of the teams that got to qualify for the next round of 16 are:
