Mass house issues statement after recent death.

Entertainment establishment MassHouse has issued an official statement following an incident in which a reveller allegedly died on their premises during the early hours of Saturday, February 15, 2025. 

Located within Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi, the venue stated that it is fully cooperating with the relevant authorities to address the situation.

The announcement was made in response to a social media uproar regarding claims that a Strathmore University student died at the club after being involved in an altercation. 

In their statement, MassHouse provided their perspective on the incident but noted that they were not able to share detailed information at this time.

“Between the late hours of Friday the 14th of February and the early hours of Saturday the 15th of February 2025, an incident occurred within the Masshouse premise, and as such we extend our sympathies to the victim’s loved ones,” Mass House statement read in part.

“Despite us being unable to share any detailed information regarding the incident, we at Masshouse are cooperating fully with the relevant authorities in their ongoing investigation in order to understand the circumstances surrounding this incident,”.

The Mass House management went on to state that they are committed to transparency and that they will continue to provide the public with updates on the said incident.

“Masshouse is committed to transparency and will provide updates as appropriate in accordance with the investigation’s progress.

Masshouse is firmly dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our clients remains a top priority. We ask for your patience and understanding at this time,” they added.

MassHouse issued the statement after an X User @ross_carleone took to the platform to announce the death of his brother.

“Good morning Kenyans, please assist me, I lost my brother on Sunday at Mass House. The police report said, the joint found a young man collapsed kwa stairs, autopsy jana shows he was killed,” he shared.
