Just in time for Christmas,Kelly Rowland’s high anticipated Christmas movie just premiered on
Lifetime’s It’s a Wonderful Lifetime series of movies campaign that runs through December 25.
Dubbed Merry Liddle Christmas,it is inspired by real life events. Starring Kelly Rowland herself who
plays the role of Jacquie, an uber successful techpreneur, Merry Liddle Christmas is the epitome of
Christmas gone foul. Jacquie purchases a flamboyant dream home and invites her family over
to partake in the festivities. Unbeknownst to Jacquie,it is all bound to morph into a bona fide
catastrophe with traditions clashing and lots of family drama ensuing.
While she grapples with all this, she also falls in love with a neighbor and she has to have all figured
out. While it may not be the Christmas she had envisioned,it may turn out to be her most magical yet.

Thumbs Up: This movie is timely as they come and could not have come at a better time. Not to
mention that its authenticity and raw feel will resonate with many a viewer. The decision to have it
air on Lifetime was brilliant too, seeing as it is very family-oriented.

Thumbs Down: Admittedly,Kelly did not detail everything that happened during her family
catastrophe in the movie, in her quest to not be in bad books with some family members. Do not
leave out anything, Kelly! It would be even way better if it included everything!

Verdict: Overall, this is a Christmas masterpiece to binge on with family. Its ability to show that the
holidays are not always as magical as portrayed is an absolute plus!
