Nigerian man breaks record for longest tweaker.

Babajide Israel Adebanjo, a Nigerian man, has been named the holder of the longest twerking duration by an individual.

Israel twerked for three hours and thirty minutes on January 14, 2024. 

Months later, the Guinness World Record announced him as the title holder for the longest duration of twerking.

The Guinness World Record explained on its website that; “This record attempt was personal to Babajide as it was a way for him to get out of his comfort zone and to raise awareness for anyone suffering from depression all around the world.”

“His message is that no record is too crazy, too big, too great, or too little to achieve. There is always space for everyone and their unique attributes.”

Taking to social media, an excited Israel shared a video of the certificate.

“Guinness Record Certified,” he wrote.

Adding “WE DID IT! 🎉🔥We are beyond thrilled to announce that our record-breaking achievement has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records! 🎊Although we missed the congratulatory email on the day it was approved (oops! 🙈), we’re making up for it now with a big shoutout to our amazing team and supporters! 🙌We’re incredibly proud to have set a new standard in twerking, and we couldn’t have done it without your energy, enthusiasm, and support. Thank you for being part of this journey with us! 💖Here’s to breaking barriers, pushing limits, and making history together! 🥳🔥.”

Guinness World Record involves listing world records both of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world.
