With everyone having New Year resolutions and goals to achieve before the year comes to an end, celebrity Fashionista Nimrod Nick has something that he’s challenging all Kenyans with.

The celebrity has challenged Kenyans to try and support local musicians the same way they cheer and marvel at International musicians.

His challenge came hours after the Churchill show Crossover concert that took place on New Year’s Eve night at Garden City with the main attraction being Tanzanian singer Christina Shusho.

According to him, Kenyans had given too much glory and fame to the Tanzania musician in a period of one month something they hardly do when it comes to local musicians.

He felt hurt by what Kenyans did and wasn’t afraid to show his displeasure.

Nimrod Nick took to his Instagram handle and bluntly told Kenyans the hard truth that many fail to tell.

In a post posted on the Nairobi Gossip Club page, he commented on it by saying;

“Y’all made this woman of God feel like the prime Beyoncé in a span of a month or so which she truly deserves…question is can we channel the same energy to our gifted Kenyan queens though?? What are they not doing right now??”

Wait, before you get all worked up for nothing, Nick is just looking out for Kenyan talent and feels they deserve some credit and love for their hard work.

Social media netizens not failing to have something to say fiercely shot back at Nick’s comment and gave him a piece of their mind.m

According to them, Kenyan artists lacked consistency something that the Tanzania artist used to her advantage to get a large following.

Christina Shusho has been producing back-to-back hit songs that never fail to capture one’s heart and relate to the situations in people’s lives.

Her major hit song “Shusha Nyavu” continues to be celebrated by many because of the song’s strong message.

The Churchill Show Crossover Concert was attended by a large number of people and its tickets were sold out.

Famous celebrities and other gospel musicians were present to be entertained and entertain the waiting crowd.

Among them included; Terence Creative, Milly Chebby, Ofweneke, Zabron singers, Mercy Masika and Solomon Mukubwa.
