Beloved Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has finally revealed when his music hiatus will end
Earlier last month Papa Jones took to his Instagram page to announce that he would be taking a break from making music.
The “Tuma Kitu” musician in an event that went down last weekend revealed that his hiatus will soon come to an end.
Speaking to Shiku Gitau, the OG disclosed the main reason his hiatus was short-lived
Papa Jones started by saying he was busy with his side hustle but once he had completed his side quests he would commit fully to his music.
“Nitarudi najikakamua nirudi, kuna somethings nilikuwa nafanya on the side I needed to ensure I see them through, God’s grace has been sufficient finally we are almost there, and once we are done with that I can finally submit myself to this music the way it’s supposed to.”
Shiku later inquired if the break was because he was making a new studio or constructing his multimillion-dollar mansion.
The “Yes Bana” musician said that was part of the reason he took a break but the main reason was because he needed to rebrand and bring an even better version of himself in the game.
“That is also part of the reason I took a break, I have been active I don’t think there is any other artist who is more than me in the industry.
I have been active but sometimes it’s better to take a step back and analyze the game and probably even rebrand not a different artist but an upgraded version of Khaligraph. That is what we have been working on and very soon it’s going to be put into display and people will see what is coming.”
