After a myriad and tell-tale teases that they were working together,Normani and Megan Thee Stallion finally dropped what should in a nutshell be described as a juggernaut smash hit that is bound to tear the charts up. Dubbed Diamonds, the uber anthemic and upbeat hit is the lead single off of the upcoming Birds Of Prey soundtrack that concurrently drops on February 7 with the movie.

The song is the sonic take on the movie’s storyline that shows Normani and Megan give supposed bad boys a walloping..And while they beat them to a pulp,they body every cue and lyric. Normani’s unparalled vocals mash all too well with Megan’s hard-hitting bars. The chillingly catchy Diamonds are a girl’s best friend lyric has never sounded any better. Normani’s twist to it makes it sound all too fresh and modern;no mean feat given that it borrows from Marilyn Monroe’s line that dates as far back as the ‘50s! The outfits are as flamboyant as they come and have both ladies’ hit records christened on them..utterly creative and unapologetic,might we add! Normani did not especially spare a single diamond as she has them plastered her body over.
