The First 100MP Camera in Reno Series: Capture the world in spectacular detail

OPPO introduced a 100MP Portrait Camera for the first time ever in the Reno series, allowing users to capture the world with exceptional clarity and detail of the world. Together with its capability on portrait photography, users can capture high-quality portraits, such as in group photos, scenic pictures, and even the ability to conduct secondary cropping to create completely different photographs.
Microlense

Reno8 T’s Microlens enables users to capture surprising visual images at 20-times and 40-times magnification, giving you a fresh perspective on the micro world that turns everyday objects into abstract masterpieces. It’s also a huge evolution over the 30-times magnification Microlens featured on the previous generation of Reno series phones.

Among these, the flash is only 7mm away from the 40x Microlens, which will turn into a fill light and produce strong enough light while using the Microlens. The OPPO HDR algorithm is also a part of the upgraded 40x Microlens, which guarantees the quality of photo even if it is in high contrast situation with different levels of exposure.

AI Portrait Super Resolution
With AI Portrait Super Resolution, we’re harnessing the power of AI to bring extra detail and clarity to portrait images taken in dark situation. It is based on an AI deep learning algorithm trained on over 200,000 samples of both clear and blurry portraits. Using this knowledge, AI Portrait Super Resolution can recognize, analyze, and optimize portraits captured in poorly lit environments.

In dark situations like these, the AI Portrait Super Resolution algorithm is automatically activated to boost image clarity and reduce noise to leave you with incredible looking portraits.
Selfie HDR

Do you ever feel like your selfies come out under or over exposed, especially if there’s strong backlight in your photo?

With Selfie HDR on Reno8 T, the front camera automatically detects background light sources and use an algorithm to suppress bright backlight. With both shadows and light sources appear sharping and defined, Selfie HDR gives more life to your selfies.

DSLR-Like Bokeh Flare Portrait

Bokeh Flare Portrait is available on the Reno8 T’s back cameras, it’s now super easy to take photos with beautiful, dream-like bokeh lights as your glittering backdrop.

Bokeh Flare Portrait on Reno8 T adds a natural bokeh lens flare effect to the background of portrait images to make you, the subject, stand out from the crowd. The feature simulates the effects produced by large aperture lenses on DSLR cameras, giving you the power of a professional camera in your pocket.

Reno8 T doesn’t just deliver gorgeous photo and video content — the handset itself is beautifully crafted to combine classic Reno design features with OPPO’s new design elements.

OPPO has completely overhauled the performance on Reno8 T and implemented a number of features to guarantee a longer-lasting smoother experience. We rigorously test all of our hardware and software to make sure it runs as smoothly as possible.

In order to make sure the Reno8 T maintains a high level of operating fluency even after four years of use, OPPO Labs specifically conducted a 48-month fluency testing to evaluate the phone’s fluency in areas like app startup speed and response time.
