American rapper and singer Doja Cat, Nigerian singer Tems, and Colombian artist J Balvin are set to perform at the first-ever halftime show during the FIFA Club World Cup final.

It was confirmed on Monday that Doja Cat, J Balvin, and Tems will take the stage at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Final, marking a historic moment in football.

The show, produced by Global Citizen and curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 13 and will be broadcast worldwide.

In addition to the performances, Global Citizen aims to raise awareness and funds to help end extreme poverty.

Their initiative seeks to generate $100 million (£74 million) to improve access to education and football facilities for children.

J Balvin, whose real name is José Balvín, expressed his excitement about headlining the event, stating,

“From Medellin to MetLife, I am honored to headline the first-ever halftime show of the FIFA Club World Cup final. It’s a historic moment for Latin culture and for every kid who dreams big.”

Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems, whose real name is Temilade Openiyi, added,

“We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. I can’t wait to see you at the Club World Cup final!”

Pop sensation Doja Cat previously headlined two global concerts: the 2024 Global Citizen Festival in Central Park and the 2021 Global Citizen LIVE event held in front of the Eiffel Tower.

The FIFA Club World Cup will take place in the U.S. from June 14 to July 13, featuring the world’s top 32 club teams competing across 11 cities.
