“We were given brains, my friend”- Huddah.

Socialite and businesswoman Huddah Monroe has claimed that in Kenya, people from the Mount Kenya community will never take to the streets to protest because a leader from their region has been mistreated.

In a post on Instagram, Huddah stated that no one from Mount Kenya has ever dared to protest in the streets over the removal of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

She defended her stance, saying that people from the region have enough wisdom, and if President William Ruto expected to see protests over Gachagua’s removal, he has miscalculated.

“People thought those from the mountain would take to the streets to protest because of Gachagua. We were given brains, my friend,” Huddah wrote.

“If Ruto thought he would cause chaos among the Kikuyus over Gachagua, too bad for him. Our vision is greater than cheap politics,” she added.

Huddah’s comments come just a few days after Rigathi Gachagua was removed from office by the Senate in a session that took place in his absence. ,

Gachagua’s lawyers stated that he was hospitalized, and after being discharged on October 20, the ousted leader addressed the media outside Karen Hospital.

He strongly criticized his former boss, President William Ruto.

Gachagua claimed that all his security detail, as well as his staff at his Harambee Annex office, had been withdrawn, and he was forced to take mandatory leave.
