Kenyan YouTuber Thee Pluto has opened up about his alleged breakup with his baby mama, Felicity Shiru.
In an interview with Ankali Ray, Pluto revealed that Shiru moved out of their home and returned to her mother’s place after the breakup.
He also mentioned that their daughter is currently staying with his mother, as his busy schedule makes it difficult for him to care for her.
“It’s true we have broken up but I can’t say everything on social media. I just want a peaceful breakup I don’t want things to escalate in a manner that I would not like.
“We have a kid and also relatives so it’s good when we accord each other respect,” Pluto said.
“Currently she is at her mother’s place. I’m home alone and the kid is at my mother’s place because of a busy schedule. And not like she had left the kid behind. She had gone to her mother’s place because she was not feeling well,”.
The statement comes at a time when the content creator is fighting critics of his relationship.
“He mentioned that the issue is so sensitive for him to play mind games on his fans.
“There is nothing to joke about what was posted earlier. There is indeed music coming. But that’s another thing on its own na tulishashoot already. About the breakup, I’m not bluffing. Yes, It’s over,” Pluto said.
Thee Pluto’s message come hours after he announced that he had ended his romantic relationship with Felicity Shiru.
“We’ve decided to go on our separate ways and end our 3-year relationship. Thank you for the continued support from family, friends, and fans.”
He went on to ask his fans for privacy during this difficult time and stressed that he and Felicity would continue to co-parent without any issues.
“Let’s not speculate or spread lies about the situation. We will co-parent peacefully to ensure the life of our lovely daughter is not affected. Give us some space during this hard time. Thank you.”
Many fans were taken aback by the news with some expressing skepticism that the announcement could be a publicity stunt aimed at gaining attention or clout.
