2 in 1 singer Naiboi is trending online with questions from Kenyans about his whereabouts. The musician has taken a break, and on TikTok, fans are reminiscing about his days in the spotlight.

In 2021, the singer opened up in a candid message about the challenges he was facing.

“All I ever wanted is to release music for my fans. And I know my fans are worried wondering what’s up with A Naiboi!! My Hands have been tied for almost 2years now. And I am tired of being at the mercy of these people,” he stated.

The Welle Welle singer added he had so many songs that he couldn’t release leading to frustration over his entertainment career.

“I might need serious lawyers. I might, I think. Nimefika mwisho. I Miss NaiBoi as much as you do. Pray for me. I keep everything to myself a lot, but imefika mwisho. I love music so much it hurts to have over 800 songs and I can’t release even a single one,” he added.

A year later in 2022, he announced what had been holding him back with an announcement he had ended his contract with Universal Music Group.

“Finally Free to Release Music / Been a Tough 3-year situation 😤. But Hey why Complain when I can Finally killem widit. My YouTube channel is Naiboi Worldwide do subscribe if you have Not. If you have Stay alert it’s Go Time,” he wrote online.

Naiboi’s last social media post on his Ig was in November of a picture of Savara and King Charles who was visiting Kenya at the time.
