Rapper Mejja has been working with detectives for the past two weeks to identify the individual behind a troubling Facebook page.
“What’s up, guys. Let me get straight to the point. There are people on Facebook using my name putting se*ual things.”
In an announcement to the public, Mejja made it clear that the Facebook profile was even engaging in troubling posts that suggest he is in a relationship.
“This even goes to suggest it is with my daughter. Maze huyo msee amecross the line. He/she has posted se*ual things of Ssaru over there, amepost about Kendi, akina Khaligraph like everyone I have ever worked with. They are taking my pictures and using them on that profile,” he shared his despair.
“I have been at DCI for the past two weeks,” he told of his effort to clamp down on the page.
The purported Facebook profile (below) is currently under investigation.
“That is not me. I want you guys to be aware of this,” he urged.
Pleading with Kenyans, the ‘Na Iwake’ hitmaker added it is even featuring his daughter.
“I just want this person found, because even using my daughter’s name to abuse me that is below the belt, and again they are trying to create a rift, between me and people I have worked with.”
“This has gone too far,” he reacted, adding, “I will leave a link here on my Instagram, and if you are on Facebook, here is the page.”
He announced that the only FB page is – Mejja Official Account, to create awareness.
“That other person isn’t me. I want to thank those who have helped me, DCI and Parklands police station following up, and even those in Government. I won’t mention names.”
He displayed countless profiles mimicking him, “I will slowly go dealing with the others.”
