Kikwetu Festival to the Rescue!

Written by on September 23, 2020

If you have not spent the last few months hibernating under a rock (we wouldn’t judge if you did!), then you know you might remember all too well that we have perpetually borne the reputation of the media and events entity that throws the hottest parties the country over. And while that may have been heavily inhibited by the unexpected turn of events (no pun intended) that this year took,we still held on to our mojo.

As normalcy gradually resumes in the country,we are not the kind to let the chance slide. Fun and games abound as our premier and first event post-lockdown event dubbed Kikwetu Festival is slated to go down on 3rd and 4th October at Carnivore Grounds. As the name suggests, this one-of-a-kind event will have local music and culture aesthetics-a much-needed state of things in our industry and that has hitherto left a lot to be desired.

Kikwetu Festival will be a drive-in experience. The festivities will comprise of people checking in in their personal whips and using the same as their reserved sitting and partying points. Food and drinks will be served at the venue and will not be allowed in from outside. 4 people in a Saloon car will pay Sh 6000 as entrance fee, while 6 people in an SUV will pay Sh 9000.

Worth noting is that adherence to all stipulated Covid-19 restrictions will be observed. To purchase tickets, dial *229*99# or log on to mtickets.com.
