Strict UK Mom Drafts Contract That Kids Have To Sign Before Sleepover

Imagine your mom drafting an actual contract that your supposedly mischievous friends have to sign on before they are allowed in for a sleepover? Sounds about impossible, correct. Except it is,as depicted in this story of a UK mom who rose to the occasion to see to it that sleepovers at her house are not a pain in the butt.
According to the screenshot that appeared on Reddit, the unnamed mom from the UK has come up with a rather dramatic set of rules that kids have to adhere to sleep over at her house. Readers expressed shock and disbelief at the utterly strict set of rules. The first rule clearly and sternly states that there should be absolutely no touching or tickling, failure to which will lead to punishment-separation till pick up time. Ouch!
The other 3 rules are no easy peasy either:
1.Changing of clothes will be done independently and in private space with the individual not in company of anyone else. This means no nudity in front of anyone else, whatsoever.
2. Disruptions including excess volume of voice or electronics will result in suspension of such privileges. This means no shouting, interrupting or blasting the TV or iPad.
3. Complaining will not be tolerated. Constructive requests are encouraged in a calm, polite tone of voice. This means, you wait to have my attention and acknowledgement before you start speaking to me.The document adds: “I have read and understand the rules and conditions of having a play date at Ms. [name removed]’s house and I agree to show respect at all times.”If my behaviour reaches and maintains standards then a fun time will be had and brunch will occur together the following day. If my behaviour falls below standards then future play dates or sleep overs might not occur again without serious consideration and stipulation.”
Talk of new-age parenting!
