Hip Hop musician Kendrick Lamar, known for his amazing hits, amazed fans at the Move Afrika event that went down on the 6th of December in Rwanda.
The concert was held in BK Arena and was attended by a fanbase of 8,000 people.
Move Afrika’s stage was set on fire by Kendrick Lamar’s electrifying performance! Fans were left on the edge of their seats craving for more.
Kendrick decided to incorporate both Western and Rwanda’s traditional dances in his show making it an epic experience that no one would want to miss seeing.
His iconic ground-breaking concert in Kigali marks a historic moment for music in Africa.
Other than his performance captivating the hearts of many it also opened doors for more American rappers to embrace the African stage.
The Rwandesse President Paul Kagame and his wife the first lady made the experience of his performance even better when they appeared on stage.
That was seen as a very big milestone to those in attendance since it is a known factor that African presidents hardly show up in concerts.
Move Afrika is a music touring circuit that aims to travel to all African countries. Rwanda was the first country to host the concert.
Its main objective is to pioneer world-class music and live entertainment across the African continent to inject jobs and skills training into local economics in five years.
Other artists who grazed the stage are Rwanda’s favourite Bruce Melody, Fred Mfuranzima, Zuchu, Sherrie Silver, DJ TOXXYK, Ariel Wayz, Kvumbi King and Bruce The 1st.
